80's Wild Child Costume

Get into the groove with our 80’s Wild Child costume! If you want to channel Madonna, the Original Material Girl, during her Desperately Seeking Susan years, then this is the costume for you.

Madonna made this “street urchin” iconic look famous in the mid-eighties, with its short skirt, leggings, necklaces, fishnet gloves, hairbows, long layered strings of beads and bleached, untidy hair with dark roots. The whole look was actually created by Maripol, Madona’s stylist, who was also a jewellery designer and artist.

Our gorgeous costume, which includes all the key elements of the look, will have everyone go crazy for you! The costume includes a glittery cropped bolero-style jacket with leopard trim, a velvet-look bustier, a black net and velvet-look tutu and black lace leggings. It also includes a black headband with a bow.
